There is no conference wing, no banquet hall, no generic function room. There is the dining room with its view of Nahuel Huapi, the terrace for aperitivos as the sun drops behind the Andes, the private dock for ceremonies, and a forest reserve for those who want the outdoors as part of the occasion.
The scale is intimate by design — which means any gathering here is private by default. Twenty rooms. The kitchen, the cellar, and the team are all part of what you get. The landscape is the rest.

A private dock on a glacial lake, and a collection of settings designed to host events of every scale. From intimate ceremonies to grand celebrations of up to 500 guests, Las Balsas adapts effortlessly to the experience you envision, turning every occasion into something truly memorable.
THREE GENERATIONS WELCOME
Family Gatherings
The hotel accommodates up to 46 guests across its ten Lodge rooms and ten villas. A family that takes the whole property has the lake, the kitchen, the spa, the forest, and the staff to themselves. Breakfast on the terrace every morning. Dinner by the fire every night.

Friends Expeditions
A group of friends who want the Patagonian landscape as a base — the Arrayanes Forest, Cerro Bayo, the Ruta de los Siete Lagos — and Las Balsas as the place to return to at the end of each day. Private excursions, shared dinners, the cellar open for the evening.

Chef Duván Ochoa designs the menu from scratch — not the tasting menu adapted, but something built around the group, the season, and what Patagonia is offering that week. The dining room, the terrace, the dock, or the forest reserve. Each location changes the dinner completely.
