THE SPA & POOL

Unparalleled views. Unhurried time.

Las Balsas Spa opens onto the lake — literally. The heated infinity pool and year-round hot tub face Nahuel Huapi without obstruction, making the boundary between spa and landscape intentionally unclear.

TREATMENT ROOMS

RELAXATION LOUNGES

Three rituals. Each one a different way to restore.

These are not massages. They are treatments built around a specific idea — volcanic heat, the properties of water, the sensory world of the Andean forest. Each one addresses a different kind of depletion. Each one uses the landscape as part of the method.

I

The Volcano Ritual

DEEP RESTORATION · CHRONIC MUSCLE TENSION

Volcanic stones heated to working temperature, applied along the meridians of the body. The weight and heat of the stone do what hands alone cannot — releasing deep muscular tension and calming the nervous system.

DURATION

90 minutes

II

The Lake Ritual

EMOTIONAL RELEASE · ANXIETY

A water-based ritual that works through the body's relationship with temperature and movement. Warm water relaxes the muscular system; acupressure releases what tension holds. A treatment for those who carry more than physical weight.

DURATION

75 minutes

III

The Forest Ritual

SENSORY RECONNECTION · NEED FOR GROUNDING

A journey through the four seasons of the Andean Patagonian forest, experienced through scent, texture, temperature, and touch. Designed for those who have spent too long indoors — or too long in their own heads. The forest begins just outside this room.

DURATION

90 minutes

The body knows what it needs. These help it get there.

Five treatments, each one addressing a different physical need — from deep muscular release to lymphatic drainage to the quiet work of reflexology. Pressure, duration, and focus adjusted to the session.

I

Las Balsas Signature Massage

TAILORED RESTORATION · MUSCLE TENSION

A combination of relaxing and therapeutic techniques, adjusted to the pressure and focus the body needs that day. Accompanied by aromatherapy. The session begins with a brief conversation, what you carry in determines what the treatment prioritises.
50 | 90 minutes

DURATION

II

Küme Massage

DECELERATION · MENTAL FATIGUE

Designed for the body that has forgotten how to stop. A combination of movements and techniques focused on the head, neck, shoulders, and feet — the four places where the day accumulates. Slow, deliberate, without urgency.
50 minutes

DURATION

III

Champi Massage

HEAD & SCALP RELEASE · MENTAL OVERLOAD

Rooted in Indian Ayurvedic medicine, this treatment works from the shoulders up — arms, neck, scalp — improving circulation and releasing the tension that accumulates above the shoulders. Particularly effective after long travel or extended screen time.
50 minutes

DURATION

IV

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

DETOX & CIRCULATION · FLUID RETENTION

Slow, rhythmic movements that stimulate the lymphatic system — encouraging drainage in the legs and reducing fluid retention. A technical treatment with immediate physical results and a lasting sense of lightness.
40 minutes

DURATION

V

Reflexology

FULL BODY RESET · SYSTEMIC FATIGUE

Pressure and sliding applied to specific points of the feet, hands, and face — each one corresponding to an organ or system of the body. A treatment that works indirectly but thoroughly, without the need to address the body directly.
30 minutes

DURATION

Movement in its own time — and stillness when it calls.

Every class and session at Las Balsas is offered as an invitation — never a schedule. Guided by the lake, the forest, or the stillness of the spa, each practice is shaped by the season and by the energy of the day. Some mornings that means yoga facing the water at first light. Others, a slow walk through the reserve.
Yoga
Morning practice on the lake terrace facing Nahuel Huapi. Breath, alignment, and the particular silence of early Patagonia.

WHY IT WORKS HERE

The philosophy

Wellness arrived here as a word. The practice was already here.

The forest, the water, the quality of stillness on a trail with nobody else on it — these are not features that were designed. They are what this place has always been. The spa, the rituals, and the movement programme are built around them: an invitation to use deliberately what the landscape offers freely.

We help you make time for it. The rest takes care of itself.
